HM Queen Elizabeth II

On Monday 19th September, we will be joining with the rest of the country, and closing the shop to enable the staff to pay their respects to HM Queen Elizabeth II.  She dedicated her whole life to serve the United Kingdom and other countries and I personally feel proud to have lived in her reign.  As a florist, it is also lovely to see people showing their affection and their sympathy with flowers, and although I haven't actually sold any for this purpose, I am proud to belong to the collective of florists who work with flowers every day.  Even after quite a lot of years in this job, I still find beauty in flowers.
